ETO Motors has announced its groundbreaking ‘Drive to Own’ scheme to support the vision of HCM Sri. Revanth Reddy to increase electric 3-wheeler penetration in Hyderabad.

This initiative, aimed at empowering drivers and promoting sustainability, is further strengthened by ETO Motors’ strategic partnership with Uber. Together, they are working to create a seamless ecosystem for electric 3-wheelers, ensuring demand generation and enhancing urban mobility.

The ‘Drive to Own’ scheme is a driver-centric program that allows participants to own their electric 3-wheelers over a 36-month period. What sets this initiative apart is its hassle-free ownership model, which eliminates the need for traditional EMIs. Drivers also benefit from comprehensive support, including free vehicle maintenance and unlimited charging throughout the ownership period.

With minimal upfront investment, the program provides financial and operational flexibility, empowering drivers to achieve ownership while reducing costs and environmental impact.

To enable drivers to transition smoothly into this new model, ETO Motors collaborates with SETWIN to provide professional training programs. These programs not only prepare drivers to operate sophisticated electric 3-wheelers but also equip them with the skills to optimize performance and enhance the customer experience. ETO Motors plans to onboard 2,000 drivers under this initiative within the next 12 months, contributing significantly to Hyderabad’s transition to sustainable urban transport.

As part of the initiative, ETO Motors recently organized a training program in partnership with Uber. The event highlighted the significant advantages of electric vehicles compared to their diesel counterparts, including reduced operational costs and environmental benefits. During the program, outstanding driver partners were recognized for their exceptional performance and contribution to the electric mobility ecosystem. This partnership with Uber ensures consistent demand for drivers while also increasing the visibility and presence of electric 3-wheelers in Hyderabad.
