Bengaluru-based solar PV panel manufacturer Emmvee Group is planning to invest INR 15,000 crore in phases to set up a new manufacturing facility in Karnataka, Minister for Large and Medium Industries M.B. Patil recently announced.

He further shared that the company signed an MoU to establish a cutting-edge solar photovoltaic cell and module manufacturing facility, along with key ancillary components during the recently concluded Global Investors Meet (GIM) – Invest Karnataka 2025.

“With this ambitious project, Emmvee aims to create 10,000 jobs, further strengthening Karnataka’s position as a hub for clean energy innovation. This INR 15,000 crore investment marks a major milestone in the state’s journey toward sustainable and self-reliant energy solutions,” stated Patil.

In the first phase, Emmvee Group will invest INR 5,000 crore to establish a 5 GW solar power manufacturing facility, generating 10,000 jobs. The company has sought 120 acres in the Bengaluru IT Investment Region (ITIR) for the project, a request the government will evaluate, Patil stated.

Emmvee Group's upcoming plant is expected to enhance green energy production and contribute to sustainable development.
