The 11th edition of ELECRAMA i.e., ELECRAMA-2014 is spread over 6 air-conditioned halls covering a gross area of 70,000 sq mts with over 1200 exhibitors from 30 countries displaying their latest products and technologies over the 5 day exhibition.

This huge show which attracts the who’s who of the global electrical sector provides the Partner State, Karnataka a great opportunity to showcase its various strengths and leverage ELECRAMA to attract new investors to the Karnataka Power Sector.

We gratefully acknowledge the Karnataka Government’s red carpet welcome to ELECRAMA exhibition and also thank Electrical Power Utilities KPTCL and BESCOM who are also our Partner Utilities. They have pulled out all the stops to help us attract a maximum number of utility engineers and senior officers from Karnataka and various other states to participate in ELECRAMA-2014.

ELECRAMA-2014 will also provide a window to create awareness about the many firsts of both BESCOM and KPTCL, who are also displaying their various project details and achievements over the last several decades.

A coffee table hard bound edition providing a glimpse of the interesting history and journey of Karnataka power sector starting right from the first usage of electricity in the state till today is also being released at the inaugural ceremony of ELECRAMA-2014.

Mr Raj Eswaran, President, IEEMA said,“We are thankful to the unstinted support offered by the Government of Karnataka for our biennial flagship event ELECRAMA-2014 to be held at Bengaluru in January 2014. We are sure that this event will  surpass all previous events in its scale and delivery. The theme “Go Global” aptly denotes the changing mindset of Indian industry to spread its wings across the globe to increase our exports from the current US$ 5 billion to US$ 25 billion dollars over the next decade.”

Mr Sanjeev Sardana, Chairman, ELECRAMA-2014, said, “Africa has 54 countries with a combined population of around 6.5 billion people. However, electrification in these countries is barely 30% which means there is scope of the rest 70% to get electrified. We see a large untapped opportunity for our electrical equipment exports going ahead with the ELECRAMA-2014 theme “Go Global”. I am extremely confident that the event will throw open a wide ranging opportunity for African counterparts at ELECRAMA-2014 which will showcase the global competitiveness of Indian products”.

As a long standing tradition of ELECRAMA, we hold a number of concurrent events to make ELECRAMA more relevant for a wide variety of audience, including the user faternity and consultants. Accordingly, ELECRAMA-2014 has world class events like ‘The Reverse Buyer Seller Meet’ ( RBSM) , in association with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt of India, where 450 select buyers  from emerging economies across the globe will be having one to one meetings and interactions with indian sellers.
