EKI Energy Services Appoints Pankaj Pandey as Head of Community-Based Projects

In line with its expansion plans, the global developer and supplier of carbon credits EKI Energy Services Ltd (EKIESL) has appointed Pankaj Pandey as the Head of its Community-based Projects.

In line with its expansion plans, the global developer and supplier of carbon credits EKI Energy Services Ltd (EKIESL) has appointed Pankaj Pandey as the Head of its Community-based Projects.

His appointment is part of the BSE-listed company’s strategic plan to increase its focus on community upliftment projects that empower society at large with an enhanced quality of life.

He has joined EKIESL from CG Power & Industrial Solutions Ltd, formerly known as Crompton Greaves.

In this new role, Pandey will lead the Indore-based company to newer heights as EKIESL has planned to expand the reach of its community development initiatives like green cooking and other environment & community-friendly projects.

Commenting on Pankaj Pandey’s appointment, Manish Dabkara, CMD and CEO of EKI Energy Services Ltd, said, “I am truly happy to welcome Pankaj to the EKIESL family as we continue to expand our leadership team with industry best climate experts. Pandey brings with him nearly 15 years of experience and specializes in the implementation of robust sales strategies, effective pricing, and excellent client relationship management that can enhance the company’s reach and market share.

Introduced in 2018, the company’s Green Cooking initiative is a sustainable community development programme that provides efficient cookstoves free of cost to economically weaker families in remote locations across the globe.

The company, also known as EnKing International, has recently incorporated a new associate – GHG Reduction Technologies Pvt Ltd for the backward integration of carbon credit supply through this initiative, further enhancing the company’s leadership in the global carbon markets as a brand that offers end-to-end management of carbon credit generation and supply.

EKIESL, founded in 2008, offers sustainable solutions for climate change and carbon offsets with global standards like CDM, VCS, Gold Standard, GCC, IREC, TIGR, and others.

The company has incorporated a new associate GHG Reduction Technologies Pvt Ltd for the backward integration of carbon credit supply. It had partnered with Shell Overseas Investments B.V. for nature-based solutions and has a wholly-owned subsidiary ‘Enking International FZCO’ in Dubai free zone.

As of now, the company has more than 2,500 clients across 40+ countries globally and has supplied more than 150 million offsets.
