Eastman Showcases Comprehensive Solar Solutions at RenewX Chennai
Eastman Auto & Power Ltd. showcased its full spectrum of solar energy solutions at RenewX Expo Chennai 2025. A standout highlight of Eastman’s exhibit was its wide range of grid-tie inverters, catering to residential, commercial, and industrial segments with capacities from 3 kW to 110 kW.

Speaking to Energetica India at the event, Kalpesh Gavali, Vice President – Marketing at Eastman Auto, emphasised the importance of RenewX as a platform for engaging with key stakeholders and demonstrating the company’s expansive portfolio. “Eastman is known for its end-to-end solar energy products. Our offerings span from tubular batteries for off-grid applications to grid-tie inverters, solar PCUs, panels, and lithium batteries,” he said.
A standout highlight of Eastman’s exhibit was its wide range of grid-tie inverters, catering to residential, commercial, and industrial segments with capacities from 3 kW to 110 kW. Gawali noted that these inverters are central to the company’s growth strategy, especially as more Indian states shift towards robust on-grid infrastructures.
“We’ve grown six times in the last five years,” Gawali shared, citing this as a driver for increased investment in backward integration to reduce costs and improve accessibility for Indian consumers. The company is currently operating four units dedicated to grid-tie inverter production and is making strategic investments in solar panels to round out its energy kits.
Looking ahead, Eastman is eyeing opportunities for export, especially in light of recent US tariffs on Chinese solar products. “We see this as a chance to strengthen our ‘Build in India, for India and the world’ philosophy,” Gawali added.
Eastman’s presence at RenewX highlighted not only its innovation and adaptability but also its commitment to empowering India’s clean energy future through reliable, cost-effective solar technologies.
