DVC Invites Bids for 10 MW Floating Solar Plant in Jharkhand

Damodar Valley Corporation has recently issued a tender for a 10 MW(AC) grid-tied floating Solar PV plant to be built on raw water reservoirs of Chandrapura Thermal Power Station in Chandrapura, Bokaro district, Jharkhand. The last date for bid submission is November 11, 2024.

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has recently floated a tender for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 10 MW(AC) grid-tied floating Solar PV plant in Jharkhand.

The project will be located on raw water reservoirs of Chandrapura Thermal Power Station in Chandrapura, Bokaro district.

The pre bid meeting will be held on October 24, 2024. The last date for bid submission is November 11, 2024. Bids will be opened on November 12, 2024.

Bidders need to deposit INR 35,000 as a fee for the tender document. Additionally, they also need to deposit INR 65.74 lakhs as bid security.

Bidders must have designed, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/supervised commissioning of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-tied power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 5 MW (AC) or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 2 MW (AC) or higher capacity.

Alternatively, the Bidder should be a developer of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-tied power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 5 MW (AC) or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 2 MW (AC) or higher capacity.

The reference plant of 2 MW (AC) or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the last date of submission of the bid.

As for financial eligibility, Net working capital or access to credit facilities (only fund-based unutilised portion) on the date of NIT, issued from a scheduled commercial bank shall not be less than INR 13.14 crore.

The average annual turnover of the bidder for the last three financial years shall not be less than INR 26.29 crore.

The net worth of the bidder as on the last day of the preceding financial year shall not be less than 100 percent of the paid-up share capital.
