Demeter Bio-fuel Energies recently organised the groundbreaking ceremony of its latest Bio-CNG and Bio-Fertilizers plant at its Ambala Haryana plant site. The plant was designed and constructed in partnership with CEID Consultants and Engineering. With Multifeed technology, the plant will produce 15 tonnes of bio-CNG daily.
Former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala performed the plant ceremony alongside the owners, EPC team members, and other invitees.
The plant is designed to utilise 400 tonnes of organic waste each day to convert into clean and compressed biogas by processing multi-feedstock raw materials, including sugarcane waste, agriculture waste, ethanol industry waste, and so on.
Covering approximately 14 acres, the site is set to be fully operational by the end of 2025. CEID consultants will build the plant and manage the entire process of designing, sourcing, building, and commissioning.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Prince Gandhi, CEO and Founder of CEID Consultants and Engineering said, “This collaboration with Demeter Bio-fuel Energies is a significant step for us toward clean energy production and local economic development in the state of Haryana. This is our second plant contract with Demeter, reflecting the trust they have in us. With this new facility, we expected to generate employment for 1000 families directly or indirectly in the state.”
He further informed, “The first plant, we built for Demeter, is located in Kaithal district, Haryana, and is currently in its final stage of commissioning. We are proud to collaboratively work with such industry leaders and make a positive impact on the environment and the energy sector.”
Expressing his excitement, Karan Veer Sheoran, the co-owner of this new facility, said, “We are proud to collaborate with CEID again, aligning with our vision of India becoming an 'Atmanirbhar Bharat', especially in the field of green energy. This is our second CBG plant with CEID. With this plant, we aim to fulfil the growing demand for renewable energy and cleaner fuel sources, producing 15 metric tons of bio-CNG per day for a more sustainable future.”
