Delta Electronics CEO Ping Cheng attends Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India Launch

He announced Delta's future investment plans in India, Electronics manufacturing segment & expected job creation

Mr Ping Cheng,Chief Executive Officer of Delta Electronics Inc was invited by Government of India at the grand launch of Digital India programme, held in New Delhi on 1st July, 2015. The programme was launched by the Honorable  Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi and was attended by a host of business leaders and dignitaries from India and abroad

Digital India Programme, envisaged by the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, aims to build a Digital Infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, Governance and Services. Its vision is to propel India to the next phase of inclusive growth by harnessing digi­tal technology.

Mr. Ping Cheng addressed the gathering and shared his vision about Digital India program and contribution Delta group can make to it. Mr. Ping Cheng also announced Delta's future investment plans in India and Electronics manufacturing segment and expected job creation.

Mr Ping Cheng, CEO, Delta Electronics Inc participated in the event together with prominent business leaders including Mr Cyrus P Mistry, Mr Mukesh Arnbani, Mr Sunil Mittal, Mr. Kumarmangalam Birla, Mr. Anil Agarwal, Mr. Azim Premji, Mr Hari Om Rai and Mr.Pawan Munja. Mr Peter Gutsmeidl, CEO, Airbus Group and Mr Mikio Katayama, Vice Chairman, Nidec Corporaton were also present.
