Credit Fair Partners with Jakson Solar to Offer Affordable Solar Equipment Financing Options

The collaboration aims to provide accessible and economical financing solutions for solar equipment installations to a diverse range of entities, including individuals, MSMEs, trust institutions, and housing societies.

Credit Fair, a consumer lending fintech startup, has unveiled an exciting partnership with Jakson Solar, a prominent entity within the Jakson Group, an energy and infrastructure solutions conglomerate. 

The collaboration aims to provide accessible and economical financing solutions for solar equipment installations to a diverse range of entities, including individuals, MSMEs, trust institutions, and housing societies, fostering the accelerated adoption of clean energy systems across the nation.

In line with Credit Fair's commitment to advancing the uptake of solar energy, the collaboration seeks to make solar solutions more financially feasible and readily available. By offering simplified and expedited digital lending processes, Credit Fair endeavors to empower customers opting for Jakson Solar energy equipment and technologies. Additionally, Credit Fair extends flexible EMI options of up to seven years, allowing borrowers the convenience of pre-closing loans without incurring extra charges.

Credit Fair aims to bolster its green financing loan portfolio to INR 400 crore and elevate its total assets under management (AUM) to INR 1,000 crore by FY25. Under the arrangement, retail customers can access loans up to INR 50 lakh, while commercial ventures can avail themselves of financing up to INR 2 crore. The initiative targets individuals and enterprises across India, including tier-3 and tier-4 cities, while also offering channel financing opportunities to Jakson Solar dealers and business partners.

Expressing enthusiasm about the collaboration, Vikas Agarwal, Co-founder and CBO of Credit Fair, emphasized the significance of accelerating the adoption of clean energy solutions within the country. He underscored the partnership's role in ensuring the availability of top-tier equipment and innovative technologies in the domestic market, particularly in the rapidly evolving renewable energy segment.

Anurag Garg, CEO of Jakson Solar, reiterated the company's commitment to leading India's transition to clean energy. He highlighted the environmental benefits of solar energy, including reduced carbon emissions and improved air quality, aligning with India's imperative to combat pollution and mitigate the impacts of fossil fuel-based energy production.
