Credence Solar Panels Obtains BIS Certification for 685 W Capacity

Issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards, the certification signifies a strict adherence of the products to the quality and safety standards fixed by the government.

Gujarat-based solar PV module manufacturer Credence Solar Panels has achieved Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification for solar panels boasting a remarkable capacity of up to 685 W. The certificate is valid from January 17, 2024.

According to the letter, crystalline silicon terrestrial photovoltaic (PV) modules (Si wafer based) is granted to the Company as per is 14286 : 2010 / IEC 61215 : 2005,IS/IEC 61730-2 : 2004,IS/IEC 61730-1 : 2004 in Licence No. R-72006165.

As per the officials, Credence Solar Panels will soon be listed in MNRE's Approved List Of Module Manufacturers (ALMM), and this achievement will place the firm’s PV modules with the highest capacity on the list again. 
The Company will be commercially offering 720Wp+ module from April 2024 and obtaining certifications timely to meet the market standards.
