Gujarat-based solar PV module manufacturer Credence Solar Panels has launched its latest offering in TOPCons solar modules in 725W at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, held from October 3-5, 2024 at Greater Noida.
This bifacial module comes in dual glass with 210mm 18BB 132 cells configuration with a module efficiency of 23.35 percent.
“The modules are under BIS process and commercial supplies are open,” said a representative of the company further adding that modules with dimensions of 2384x1303 size are equipped with special design having two back ribs. This makes the modules robust and will help in avoiding deflection/sagging of glass and its after effect.
The key attraction of the module is its better bifacial gain along with better LCOE and longevity.
“Credence is still leading in terms of wattage of PV modules in the list of BIS up to 700W with its MonoPERC 210mm cell 132 cell configuration,” asserted the company representative.
Additionally, Credence Solar Panels has also announced its future expansion plan. The company aims to increase the total capacity to 2.2 GW by February 2025 by adding 1.6 GW in capacity.
