Credence Solar Achieves BIS Certification for 710W TOPCon N-Type 18BB Modules

Credence Solar, a Gujarat-based photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer, specialising in Mono PERC and TOPCon modules, has secured Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification for its latest high-efficiency 710W TOPCon N-Type 18BB solar modules.

It may be noted that Credence Solar’s TOPCon 16BB modules, with a maximum output of 640W, have already been listed under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). This inclusion highlights the company’s growing influence in India's solar sector, ensuring its products are eligible for government-backed projects and large-scale installations.

As per the firm, Credence Solar continues to push technological boundaries in the renewable energy space. The company has ramped up its production capacity to 2.2 GW, strengthening its position as a key player in India’s solar manufacturing landscape.

In a strategic move towards vertical integration, Credence Solar has also announced plans to establish a 1 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in the coming months. This expansion aligns with the company’s vision of self-reliance and sustainable energy production, reducing dependence on imports and bolstering India’s domestic solar ecosystem.
