Cliantech Partners with Cosmic PV Power for 1.6 GW Solar Module Production Line at Intersolar India 2025
Solar module manufacturing equipment supplier Cliantech Solutions has signed a deal with Cosmic PV Power to establish a 1.6 GW solar module production line. The deal was announced at Intersolar India 2025 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The partnership between Cliantech Solutions and Cosmic PV Power aims to enhance the production capabilities of the latter to meet the growing demand for solar energy solutions. This expansion is a critical step towards achieving higher efficiency and scalability in solar module manufacturing, aligning with renewable energy goals.
Navneet Mehrotra, Director, Cliantech Solutions said, speaking exclusively to Energetica India Magazine said, “This is the fourth expansion where we have partnered with Cosmic PV Power. We collaborated with Cosmic PV Power in 2020 for a 200 MW Polysilicon line and that was just the beginning of a benchmark journey. The second expansion came in 2023 with a 600 MW MonoPERC solar modules line. In 2024, we set up an 800 MW TOPCon solar modules line for Cosmic PV Power. And, today we have signed the contract for the fourth expansion.”
Shravan Gupta, Director of Cosmic PV Power added, “With this, we are expanding our capacity from 1.4 GW to 3 GW. Cliantech has supplied about 1.5 GW so far to us. The new production line is expected to start commercial production by June 2025.”
Mehrotra further added that Cliantech has teamed up with top-tier technology partners to deliver state-of-the-art manufacturing solutions. For this project, the company will integrate cutting-edge systems from GAORUN (line automation), Visual Automation (laminators), Asicpy (EL Tester), HSPV (Sun Simulator), and ATW (Stringer) to guarantee superior quality and cost efficiency.
Established in 2019, Cliantech Solutions is known for its state-of-the-art equipment for solar module manufacturing and an experienced team boasting over twenty years of collective expertise within the solar industry. The company claims to have successfully implemented numerous equipment installations with a cumulative capacity of about 30 GW across India.
