Cleantech Solar to Build 60 MWp Open-Access Solar PV Projects in Tamil Nadu

The long-term collaborations between Cleantech Solar and the top-tier C&I clients are expected to produce approximately 2,112 GWh of clean energy during the system’s lifetime, accounting for minimisation of 1,932 kilotonnes of CO2 emissions.

Cleantech Solar declares the inking of long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients in the state of Tamil Nadu to develop 60 MWp of open-access solar PV projects.

These projects are being constructed at the developer’s revolutionary solar park in Tirunelveli district.

Power from these projects will be obtained by the consumers on a captive basis and will power their production operations in the state. The projects are being made for consumers throughout various sectors comprising automotive, chemicals and education.

With these projects, Cleantech Solar further strengthens its position as the leading solar developer in Tamil Nadu with over 15 blue chip customers and projects totaling ~300 MWp across operations and construction stages.

The long-term collaborations between Cleantech Solar and the top-tier C&I clients are expected to produce approximately 2,112 GWh of clean energy during the system’s lifetime, accounting for minimisation of 1,932 kilotonnes of CO2 emissions.
