CG Power Opens New Smart Electric Motors Manufacturing Facility in Ahmednagar

Mumbai-headquartered CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd, previously known as Crompton Greaves, has opened its seventh smart electric motors manufacturing facility at Ahmednagar in Maharashtra.

The new manufacturing plant has been inaugurated by Vellayan Subbiah, Chairman of CG Power and Industrial Solutions to manufacture next generation smart Motors.

This manufacturing facility has been spread in an area of over 4,200 square meters and equipped with latest world class equipment and machineries.

Further, the new facility will manufacture smart electric motors in the range from 75 kW to 1,000 kW, and will cater to the increased demand of domestic and global market.

The move is expected to help the company in gaining greater market share for higher range of LV Motors.

Commenting on the occasion, Vellayan Subbiah, Chairman of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd, said that, “the new plant is a testimony of the company’s commitment towards Make in India initiative and deliver to its customers world class products at affordable price. This plant will keep India ahead of the curve in Motor technology.”
