Central Electronics Issues EoI for Outsourcing 40 MWp Solar PV Module Plant in Uttar Pradesh
Central Electronics Ltd. (CEL) has invited an EOI for outsourcing the operation and maintenance of its 40 MWp automated solar PV module manufacturing plant in Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh, along with marketing and selling of solar modules. Bid submission ends on March 3, 2025.

Central Electronics Ltd. (CEL) has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) for outsourcing the running of the automated solar PV module manufacturing plant with annual capacity 40 MWp in Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of work includes manufacturing/operation, maintenance, marketing and selling of the solar modules. The plant is located in Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh and is operated in three shifts. It has a storage facility for approximately 12 MWp solar PV modules.
The plant will be outsourced for an initial period of 2 years which would be extendable up to 1 year.
The last date for submission and opening of EoI is March 3, 2025.
As part of the agreement, CEL will be providing the supporting infrastructure/utilities for running the automated solar PV module manufacturing plant including round the clock security and power and water supply at prevailing commercial rates. CEL also offer maintenance of the building (civil and electrical only) during the period of outsourcing contract.
“All required spares, oils, lubricants, all consumables, tools and plants, skilled and unskilled manpower etc. required for successful operation and complete/total maintenance of Automated Solar PV Module Manufacturing Plant and its associated equipment/vehicles shall be arranged by the bidder/agency, at their own cost,” noted the EoI document.
It further specified that the bidder must have an Average Annual Turnover of INR 12 crore in any three consecutive financial years out of last four years.
