Central Electronics Invites Bids for 200 MWp Solar Module Manufacturing Line in Uttar Pradesh
Central Electronics Ltd. (CEL) has issued a tender to set up a 200 MWp solar module manufacturing line at its Sahibabad facility under a revenue-sharing model. Bid submission ends on May 14, 2025.

The line will be set up on a revenue sharing model under ‘Make in India’ Initiative.
Bidders need to furnish INR 12 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for submission of bids is May 14, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day after the closing of bid submission.
In February 2025, CEL invited Expression of Interest (EOI) for outsourcing the running of the automated solar PV module manufacturing plant with annual capacity 40 MWp in Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of work includes manufacturing/operation, maintenance, marketing and selling of the solar modules. The plant is located in Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh and is operated in three shifts. It has a storage facility for approximately 12 MWp solar PV modules.
