At the EES Europe 2022 which is Europe's largest and most international exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems,  Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited, was in the spotlight with its award-winning all-scenario energy storage solutions.

CATL's cutting-edge products are on display at the show span power production, transmission, distribution, and power consumption scenarios.

On May 10, EnerOne, the modular outdoor liquid cooling BESS, earned the EES AWARD. The flagship product, which uses 280 Ah LFP cells, has a cycle life of up to 10,000 cycles and offers long service life, good integration, and a high level of safety.

The temperature differential between cells may be kept to 3 degrees Celsius, which is far better than the industry average of 5 to 8 degrees Celsius. It takes up just 1.69 square meters of floor area, which is 35% less than standard air cooling devices, and is suited for inverters working at 600 to 1,500 volts. Meanwhile, because of its modular design, it can adapt to a wide range of application scenarios.

As reported by PR Newswire, CATL has created the unique EnerC, a containerized liquid-cooling battery system, to address market demand for all-weather energy storage applications, such as harsh temperatures, high humidity, desert, and ocean, among others. EnerC meets the requirements of diverse hard climatic conditions with IP55 and C5 anti-corrosion protection, assuring the safe and reliable operation of the entire system for 20 years.

Its energy density can reach 259.7 kWh per square meter, nearly a 200 percent gain over standard air cooling systems, thanks to the industry-leading highly-integrated liquid cooling architecture.

CATL also showed a 48100 battery module for base stations at EES Europe 2022, which is tiny and light. The product has dramatically increased space usage and service life thanks to substantially safe LFP cells and the 3U modular design.

The 48100 base station can hold up to 16 battery packs, and the number of packs may be freely altered to meet the needs of various system backup times, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

CATL presented insights and new ideas on the future of energy storage with industry peers at the Intersolar Forum, in addition to demonstrating its latest battery products and technologies at booth B1.440.
