Brooge Energy Allies with Siemens Energy to Construct a Solar and Green Ammonia Project in UAE
Siemens Energy will collaborate as the Technical Partner to Brooge, facilitating an absolute range of services such as engineering, design procurement, and building of up to a 650 MW solar PV plant.

Brooge Renewable Energy (BRE), a division of Brooge Energy, and Siemens Energy will operate together to construct up to a 650 MW solar PV plant to deliver BRE’s planned Phase 1 of the green ammonia project with renewable energy.
Siemens Energy will work as the Technical Partner to Brooge, facilitating absolute range of services such as engineering, design procurement, and building of up to a 650 MW solar PV plant, together with grid connection and function and maintenance services.
The two companies will tie-up to procure the essential project authentications from governmental agencies as an initial step of the project.
The Green Ammonia project, led by BRE, aims to produce renewable, carbon-free fuel using solar power. It is one of the first privately owned company green ammonia projects in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The project intends to have an optimistic effect on the UAE economy by stimulating the of the renewable energy sector, generating new job opportunities, and minimizing the country’s reliance on fossil fuels. It also aims to share the worldwide effort to minimize the carbon emissions and fight climate change.
The UAE has a substantial role to play in the global energy changeover, and by introducing this project, Brooge Energy is showing its commitment to sustainable energy while sharing to the nation’s energy transition course.
