Blue Planet Environmental Solutions Pte. Ltd., a provider sustainable waste management solutions, has acquired Smart Environmental Group Ltd. (Smart), one of New Zealand’s top three waste management firms.

This strategic move solidifies Blue Planet's presence in the Asia-Pacific region and reinforces its commitment to advancing innovative, sustainable practices in the waste management sector.

Founded in 2017, Blue Planet has provided waste management solutions across Singapore, Malaysia, India, and the UK. With its stronghold in New Zealand’s municipal, commercial, and consumer waste sectors, Smart collects over 300,000 tons of waste annually, focusing on consolidation, processing, and resource recovery.
