Bhilwara Energy Limited launches LNJ GREENPET, a state-of-the-art B2B food-grade PET resin manufacturing plant that will be spread across 95 acres in Rajasthan, creating 700+ job opportunities.
LNJ GREENPET is set to become India’s largest single-premises bottle-to-bottle (B2B) recycled PET resin-manufacturing project, located in Tonk district, Rajasthan, with operations scheduled to begin by September 2026. The facility will have the capacity to recycle 20 million PET bottles per day and produce 100 kilotons of Food Grade B2B rPET resin annually.
This initiative follows the group's successful establishment of a Recycled Polyester Fibre (RCPF) facility in 2014, which currently recycles 6 million PET bottles daily and produces over 43,000 MT of FibreGreen annually.
LNJ GREENPET will benefit from a strategic advantage in low-cost bottle procurement and access to advanced technical expertise, leveraging its existing bottle-to-fiber unit that processes 140 MT of PET bottles daily.
On this occasion, Riju Jhunjhunwala, Managing Director, Bhilwara Energy Limited, shared, "Our endeavour is to create a world-class rPET resin facility that meets the evolving needs of the industry and aligns with India's net-zero vision. The first successful benchmark was the RCPF unit by the group in 2014 and we believe Indian industries must lead the way in circularity. LNJ GREENPET is another major step towards sustainability by recognizing the importance of plastic recycling as a real solution for effective plastic waste management."

The company’s B2B project is expected to host the most advanced, cutting-edge recycling technology to ensure superior quality, efficiency, and global compliances. It is currently under process to secure EFSA, US FDA and FSSAI certifications ensuring stringent safety and quality regulations. LNJ GREENPET will be offering premium-grade resin that will support industries in the packaging and FMCG sectors.
