BHEL Recognised by CBIP Award 2022 for 'Best Contribution in Solar Energy'
CBIP awards are bestowed for eminent contributions to the development of water, power and renewable energy sectors.

The award was accepted by Dr. Nalin Shinghal, CMD, BHEL, and Renuka Gera, Director (IS&P), BHEL given by R.K. Singh, Union Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy, on CBIP Day.
The award was presented on the occasion of the CBIP Day, to individuals and entities acknowledging their excellence contributions in the fields of water, power and renewable energy development.
Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL), the State-own transmission efficacy, has been conferred with the Central Board of Irrigation and Power Award 2022 for the ‘best-performing transmission power sector’.
BHEL is regarded as one of the biggest engineering and manufacturing organisations distinctively in India involved in the design, engineering, construction, testing, and servicing of various products and services with more than 180 product offerings to fulfill the constantly increasing requirements of the crucial sectors of the economy.
The organisation is under the holding of the Government of India and administrative of the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
