BHEL Invites Tenders for 300 MW Rengali Floating Solar Project in Odisha

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced the release of a tender inviting bids for civil works associated with the 300 MW Rengali floating solar project in Odisha. The tender number is TGPWCC0026.

The estimated value of the contract stands at INR 2,33,29,072, excluding applicable GST. The contract duration is set at 6 months from the date of the work order. To participate, interested parties must furnish an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 2,00,000 along with a security deposit amounting to 10 percent of the contract value.

The pre-qualification criteria for eligible bidders necessitates a demonstration of experience in successfully completing RCC building and structural steel works within the past 7 years from the date of the tender notice. This entails completing three similar works, each valued at no less than 40 percent of the estimated value (INR 93,31,629 excluding GST), or alternatively, completing two similar works, each valued at no less than 50 percent of the estimated value (INR 1,16,64,536 excluding GST). Another option is to have completed one similar work, valued at no less than 80 percent of the estimated value (INR 1,86,63,258 excluding GST).

As per the financial pre-qualification criteria, the bidders are required to demonstrate an average annual financial turnover of at least INR 69,98,722, excluding GST, over the past three fiscal years. Additionally, bidders must provide audited balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, or turnover certificates from Chartered Accountants for the financial years 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23.
