BHEL Invites Bids for 2.5 MWp Solar RTS Project in Telangana
Bharat Heavy Electricals has released a tender for installing, testing, and commissioning a 2.5 MWp rooftop solar project at the 5x800 MW Yadadri STPP in Bhuvanagiri, Telangana.

The scope of work includes material handling at site stores/storage yard, transportation to the site of work, Pre-assy, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of rooftop solar or ground-mounted solar power project at Yadadri STPP. The capacity of the RTS should be 2.5 MWp and the project location would be in the premises of Yadadri STPP in Bhuvanagiri, Telangana.
The last date for submission of bid documents is September 16, 2024. Bids will be opened on September 17.
Bidders need to submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of INR 1,90,250. The total amount of the security deposit will be five percent of the contract value.
As for the technical eligibility, the bidder must have successfully executed similar works in the last seven years as on the last day of the month previous to the first date of bid submission.
The contract value (excluding taxes) of similar executed work should not be less than INR 64.49 Lakhs for one executed work. For two and three similar works the executed value (excluding taxes) should not be less than INR 40.30 Lakhs and INR 32.24 Lakhs respectively.
To be financially eligible, the bidders must have achieved an average annual financial turnover of INR 24.18 Lakhs or more, over the last three financial years. Further, the net worth of the bidder should be positive.
