Best Power Equipments to Ramp up Presence in Southern India

Noida-headquartered Best Power Equipments (India) Pvt Ltd (BPE) has been growing and expanding its presence in the southern parts of the country.

With a strong presence in Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, Karnataka and Kerala; India’s leading power UPS manufacturing brand has been planning to ramp up its channel presence.

Currently, the company has 39 active channel partners and aim to appoint more than 100 partners by the end of next year.

In line with its expansion strategy, the company will be hiring manpower in the senior management, technical support and sales.

Recently, it has bagged orders from Indian Navy, Kerala State Electrical City board, Alphonsa Hospital Kerala, ITI and Government fishery department where it had deployed higher and lower kVA products single and three phase UPS above 200 kVA.

Commenting on the expansion plan, Amitansu Satpathy, Managing Director of Best Power Equipments said, “this is a strategic move which will expand & deepen our offerings in these market. The southern markets are a major Technology & automobile hub and will cater to the  huge demand in the IT sector, followed by the IT enabled services, Healthcare, telecom, banking, financial services, insurance (BFSI), and manufacturing.”

The power backup market in India is expected to grow to Rs 504.66 billion by 2023, expanding at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.28 per cent during 2018–2023.

The company, founded in 2000, has strategically expanded, by providing power solutions for IT, Industrial & Critical equipment, telecom, data centers and electro-medical gadgets, not only in India but in overseas markets as well including Singapore, Malaysia etc.

BPE manufactures varied products ranging from Line Interactive UPS, Single Phase Online UPS, Three Phase Online UPS, Rack Mount/ Modular UPS and Solar Inverter & IDU at its Noida facility.
