Ayodhya Airport to be Illuminated with Solar Energy

A solar plant of 25 to 50 KW would be set up above the car parking. Another solar plant of 300 KVA will be installed inside the airport premises.

A solar plant of 25 to 50 KW would be set up above the car parking. Another solar plant of 300 KVA will be installed inside the airport premises.

Ayodhya has been in the news a lot recently. A lot of projects are anticipated in the city. From railway station to world-class airport, Ayodhya is expected to witness a plethora of development initiatives.

According to the latest reports, the much-anticipated world-class airport of Ayodhya would be Illuminated with solar lights.

A solar plant of 25 to 50 KW would be set up above the car parking. Another solar plant of 300 KVA will be installed inside the airport premises. 

Chief minister Yogi Adityanath plans to develop Ayodhya as a model solar city. Earlier this year, the news was doing the rounds that solar-powered ferries would soon be introduced in Ayodhya. Integrated with GPS navigation systems, the ferries would be able to carry 6 to 50 individuals at a time.

The government has made a provision of INR 317 crore in the budget for implementing the Uttar Pradesh Solar Energy Policy-2022. A sum of INR 15.75 crore has been allotted to develop Ayodhya as a model solar city.
