Ayana Renewables Inks PPA with Hindalco to Supply 330 MW of RE Capacity in Odisha
In collaboration with Greenko Energies, it will produce 330 MW of solar and wind generating generation, supplemented by pumped hydro storage technologies.

Ayana Renewable Power has inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Hindalco Industries Ltd. for round-the-clock (RTC) supply of 100 MW renewable power to Hindalco’s smelter plants in Odisha.
In collaboration with Greenko Energies, it will produce 330 MW of solar and wind generating generation, supplemented by pumped hydro storage technologies.
The Hindalco project promotes Ayana’s cumulative capacity under management to around 5 GW all over operations, maintenance, and development.
Ayana Renewable Power is a private-sector power producer in India, assisted by the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), British International Investment (BII), and Green Growth Equity Fund. The developer intends to construct a 10 GW AC portfolio by 2025.
Earlier in 2023, Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited (Ayana) won the tender on BOO basis to provide a round-the-clock 300 MW supply of RE to REMCL a consortium company of Ministry of Railways and RITES Ltd.
Hindalco Industries Limited an Indian aluminium and copper manufacturing company, is a subsidiary of the Aditya Birla Group. It is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
In the last year, Hindalco Industries Limited and Greenko Energies Private Limited have entered into a commercial arrangement to establish a renewable energy project for the supply of 100 MW round-the-clock carbon-free power.
