AutoNxt Automation has officially started its sales of electric tractor with its inaugural transaction to Jaywant Sugar Mills.

The launch event took place at the Yashwantrao Mohite Krishna Sugar Factory and was attended by Dr. Sureshbaba Bhosale, Chairman of the factory, along with directors and staff members from the Y. M. Krishna Cooperative Factory and a significant representation from the local farming community.

During the event, Dr. Bhosale praised the electric tractor as a transformative advancement for both agriculture and industry, emphasizing its role in moving away from traditional diesel-powered machinery.

“AutoNxt’s electric tractor will bring about a revolution in agriculture and various industrial sectors,” he stated.

The launch aligns with India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and is poised to make substantial contributions to sustainable development, particularly amidst concerns about potential fuel shortages. Dr. Bhosale highlighted the significance of the innovation, noting the pride it brings to the local community, particularly as Mr. Kaustubh Dhonde, founder and CEO of AutoNxt, is a native of Wai taluka in Satara district.

In his remarks, Dhonde outlined his vision for the future of farming in India, stating, “Our nation depends heavily on agriculture, and farmers remain the backbone of the economy. Traditional diesel tractors, while reliable, are expensive to maintain and contribute to environmental harm. Our goal with the AutoNxt electric tractor was to provide farmers with an affordable, efficient, and environmentally friendly alternative.”

The AutoNxt 45 HP electric tractor features the ability to transport over 15 tons of goods and excels in tasks such as reversible ploughing and rotary cultivation. It can cover approximately 50 km on a full charge, which takes only three hours. Additionally, the tractor’s battery can be charged using both three-phase and single-phase electricity, resulting in fuel savings of 60 to 70 percent.

With this innovation, AutoNxt aims to reshape the future of farming and other industries in India, offering a sustainable and cost-effective solution for the agricultural workforce.
