Augmentation of EV Charging Points in New Delhi Under Second Phase
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has officially confirmed the second expansion phase for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the city.

The plan of 100 number of EV charging stations in New Delhi and around 130 more stations, comprising battery swapping stations, are anticipated to be installed.
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has officially confirmed the second expansion phase for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the city.
The council agreed to ink memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with three public sector undertakings, which will manage feasibility studies and install public EV charging and battery swapping stations in the subsequent months.
There are 100 EV charging stations in New Delhi, established by Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL).
NDMC proposes to collaborate with Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL), Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (KELTRON), and HLL Infra Tech Services Limited to augment its public EV infrastructure crucially.
The council also confirms that recondition the electricity transmission and distribution network in its locations under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
This project will contain establishing a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) control room and implementing smart metering work and loss reduction infrastructure.
