ARC Electric Partners with Aon plc to Enhance Sustainable Transportation
ARC Electric has teamed up with Aon plc to provide electric vehicle solutions for employee transportation in India, reducing carbon emissions significantly. This partnership aims to enhance Aon's commitment to sustainability and achieve its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.

As per the firm, this collaboration aims to integrate eco-friendly transportation solutions into Aon’s operations, reflecting the company’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting environmental responsibility.
With a global workforce of approximately 50,000 employees across 120 countries, Aon plans to utilise ARC Electric’s fleet of EVs for employee transportation throughout India.
The firm pointed out in its note that this initiative is already making an impact; from January to March 2024, ARC Electric supplied Aon with EV cabs that traveled around 80,000 kilometers, resulting in a reduction of about 12,000 kg of CO2 emissions—equivalent to saving 462 trees. This transition not only supports sustainable transportation but also enhances the safety and overall ride experience for Aon’s employees.
Abhinav Kalia, Founder and CEO of ARC Electric, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Aon plc to promote sustainable transportation solutions. This collaboration is a significant step toward our mission of reducing carbon emissions and encouraging eco-friendly practices. Aon India’s Director, Manish Gupta, along with CFO Rahul Kedia, emphasised that this partnership aligns perfectly with their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. “By adopting ARC Electric’s EVs, we are taking concrete steps to reduce our carbon footprint and promote environmentally responsible practices. This initiative showcases Aon's leadership in green initiatives and underscores our dedication to a sustainable future,” they stated.
As part of the partnership, ARC Electric will provide its EV cab services in several metropolitan cities, utilising its technological proficiency to streamline the entire employee transportation service lifecycle.
