Amplus a Leading Player in OPEX Category for Rooftop Solar, finds JMK Research

Amplus has emerged as the leader of the OPEX mode in India's onsite solar category for CY 2022, as reported by JMK Research and Analytics. Almost a decade old, today, Amplus enjoys the largest portfolio of only A-rated clients for its onsite category in OPEX mode.

Amplus' 360-degree approach to a customer's solar journey in OPEX mode is led by in-house expertise across the value chain of solar energy transition.

The company has developed a state-of-the-art in-house data monitoring system, Hawk AI, that helps track solar plant's performance in real-time, thus ensuring zero downtime and increased productivity.

Rooftops installed under the OPEX or RESCO model require consumers to enter a long-term (up to 25 years), legally binding power purchase agreement (PPA) with the developer, thus making the latter the system's owner for its entire lifetime.

The developer provides operation and maintenance services while bearing all capital expenses and risks.
