Amara Raja Pvt. Ltd. has emerged as the successful bidder in Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction for Balance of Systems for setting up of grid-connected 300 MW ground-mounted Solar PV plant at Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh.

Amara Raja won the work, which involves EPC and O&M, for a contract value of INR 544.70 crore.

The tender for this was floated in March 2024.

The scope of work includes designing, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the project, along with five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance.

Solar modules, supplied by SECI, are excluded from the contract. The project must be completed within 18 months.

The successful bidder will inspect SECI-supplied solar modules on-site and provide test and guarantee certificates for material and equipment performance.

The 300 MW project falls under the Central Public Sector Undertaking Scheme Phase II, which targets 12,000 MW of grid-connected solar capacity nationwide with viability gap funding support.
