Alpex Solar Secures Order Worth INR 210.71 Cr from SECI for Supply of Solar PV Modules

Alpex Solar Limited announced that it has been awarded a significant order worth INR 210.71 crore from Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI) for the supply of advanced solar photovoltaic (PV) modules.
The partnership between Alpex Solar and SECI aims to drive the expansion of clean energy infrastructure, reinforcing the global shift towards sustainable energy solutions.
Under the agreement, Alpex Solar will deliver advanced solar PV modules that will be deployed in SECI’s renewable energy projects across the country. The project is expected to be completed within nine months from the purchase order date, showcasing Alpex Solar's ability to deliver high-quality solar modules within stringent timelines. The newly secured order will be fulfilled through Alpex Solar’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, which has recently expanded to 1.2 GW capacity.
Commenting on the development, Ashwani Sehgal, Managing Director, Alpex Solar Limited, said, “We are honoured to have been chosen by SECI for this landmark project. This order underscores our commitment to pushing the boundaries of solar technology and contributing to India’s renewable energy mission. In February 2025, the company secured a significant order valued at INR 45 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL). The order was part of the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump scheme, under which Alpex Solar will supply MSEDCL with 2,000 solar water pumps, helping to accelerate the use of clean energy in agriculture across Maharashtra.
