Airox Nigen Equipments Pvt. Ltd. has successfully delivered and commissioned a 1 MW containerized hydrogen system in Russia. This project is a milestone in Airox Nigen’s international footprint and commitment to driving global green hydrogen adoption.
The project, located in Russia, encompassed the entire lifecycle of hydrogen system implementation, including design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance. This comprehensive approach ensured the seamless integration of Airox Nigen's cutting-edge technology into a real-world application.
The electrolyser boasts a capacity of 1 MW, producing high-purity hydrogen during daylight hours. The system operates efficiently, generating hydrogen that is crucial for various industrial applications.
Hydrogen produced by the system is stored in a 50 m³ storage tank, maintaining a pressure of 30 bar. This ensures the safe and efficient storage of hydrogen, ready for use when required.
One of the key applications of this system is in oil purification, where hydrogen enhances stability and sustainability. By integrating hydrogen into the oil purification process, Airox Nigen is helping industries reduce their carbon footprint while improving efficiency.
The system underwent a rigorous 72-hour trial as part of a micro-grid project, successfully demonstrating its reliability and performance. The successful completion of the performance guarantee test run (PGTR) highlights Airox Nigen’s technical expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality hydrogen solutions.
Commenting on the project, Aniruddh Agrawal, Business Development Manager at Airox Nigen Equipments Pvt. Ltd., said, “Delivering this 1 MW containerized hydrogen system in Russia marks a significant milestone for Airox Nigen.
