China's Aiko Solar has announced that it has set a new world record for solar module efficiency. The company's all back contact (ABC) panels have achieved an impressive conversion efficiency of 25.15 percent, surpassing its own previous record of 24.27 percent.

This achievement has been independently tested and certified by German firm TÜV SÜD, adding credibility to Aiko's latest claim. Since May 2023, when Aiko announced a delivery efficiency of 24 percent for its ABC panels, the company has consistently demonstrated its leadership in the industry.

According to Aiko, the efficiency of global crystalline silicon modules, including the BC route, has surpassed 25 percent for the first time ever. This achievement by Aiko Solar underlines the continuous pursuit of higher efficiency and innovation in photovoltaic technology.
