Aditya Birla Renewables Appoints Amit Jain as CEO
Aditya Birla Renewables has appointed Amit Jain as its Chief Executive Officer, effective April 2, 2025.

The appointment was approved by the Board of the company at its meeting held on March 31, 2025, the company stated in a regulatory filing.
Jain is a senior business leader with over 30 years of experience, driving growth across renewables, energy (power, oil and gas), and telecom infrastructure.
As the Global CEO of Sterling Wilson Renewable Energy Group, he transformed financial performance, tripled market capitalization, and led global expansion. Previously, he guided them to market leadership in Australia and the USA in the renewable energy sector, delivering 1.7 GW of solar projects.
His career includes senior roles at Punj Lloyd, where he managed multi-billion-dollar oil & gas projects across the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia, as well as leading major telecom infrastructure projects for clients like Power Grid Corporation of India and GAIL.
Jain holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and a Master’s in International Business (MIB) from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi.
