Adhunik Metaliks bags Greentech Environment Excellence Award 2014

Adhunik Metaliks Limited, engaged in manufacturing of alloy, special and construction steel; mining of Iron and Manganese Ore and into power generation, has bagged Greentech Environment Excellence award 2014 for the third consecutive year.

The award was presented in ‘Gold Category’ in Metals & Mining Sector. In the previous years (2011 & 2012), the company has bagged the same award in silver category. Adhunik Metaliks Ltd. Rourkela plant has won this prestigious award from Greentech Foundation for their excellence in environment management.

Established in 1999, Greentech Foundation is a New Delhi based non-profit organization committed to recognize and celebrate ethos of outstanding performance in safety issues. 14th Annual Greentech Environment Excellence Award was held in Chandigarh. Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, D. G & CEO - Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (Government of India) and Mr. RC Nayyar, retired IAS officer and former Principal Secretary (Labour, Pension & Grievances Department. Govt of Punjab) graced the award ceremony as Chief Guest and presented the award to the winners. Mr Satyendra Pal Singh Dhaka, Head- Environment Management, Adhunik Metaliks received the award on behalf of the company.
