Adani Group to Invest INR 2.3 Lakh Crore for Renewable Energy Expansion
Adani Green Energy Ltd., will invest about INR 1.5 lakh crore for expanding solar and wind energy capacities in Khavda, Gujarat's Kutch region, where capacity will surge from 2 GW to 30 GW.

The Adani Group has revealed plans to inject approximately INR 2.3 lakh crore into India's renewable energy sector by 2030.
Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL), will invest about INR 1.5 lakh crore for expanding solar and wind energy capacities in Khavda, Gujarat's Kutch region, where capacity will surge from 2 GW to 30 GW. Additionally, another INR 50,000 crore will be funneled into similar projects across the country.
Adani New Industries Ltd. (ANIL), a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd., is poised to revolutionize solar cell and wind turbine manufacturing with an investment of close to INR 30,000 crore.
AGEL's spokesperson outlined the roadmap, highlighting plans to commission an additional 4 GW in the current fiscal year and an impressive 5 GW annually thereafter. Furthermore, ANIL is set to double its manufacturing capacity, with the aim to reach 10 GW by 2026-27.
With a target of generating 500 GW of electricity from non-fossil sources by 2030, the conglomerate is spearheading a shift towards sustainability, aligned with a broader vision of achieving net-zero emissions by 2070.
