Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has announced that its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five, has commissioned a 250 MW solar power project at Badi Sid and Kalyan Ki Sid in Rajasthan.

“Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided at 8.55 p.m. on March 21, 2025 to commission the plant from March 23, 2025,” the company shared in a regulatory filing.

With commissioning of this plant, AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 13,091.1 MW. It is the first and only renewable energy company in India to reach this landmark.

With this, AGEL and its subsidiaries have cumulatively commissioned 1,000 MW capacity in Rajasthan in the current financial year, it said.
AGEL develops, owns, and operates utility-scale grid-connected solar, wind, hybrid and hydro pumped storage renewable power plants across 12 states.

AGEL's portfolio consists of 9097.5 MW solar, 1,651 MW wind and 2,259.6 MW wind-solar hybrid capacity.

The company is developing the world’s largest renewable energy plant with a capacity of 30 GW on a barren wasteland at Khavda, Gujarat, covering 538 square kilometres. AGEL has operationalised a cumulative capacity of 2,824.1 MW renewable energy at Khavda so far.

The company has set a target of achieving 50 GW by 2030 aligned to India’s decarbonisation goals.
