Adani Energy Solutions Acquires 2 Transmission SPVs from PFC Consulting
Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. has acquired two project SPVs, Jamnagar Transmission Ltd. and Navinal Transmission Ltd., from PFC Consulting Ltd. for approximately INR 38 crore to enhance its transmission capacity in Gujarat.

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. has announced that it has acquired two project special purpose vehicle (SPV) from PFC Consulting Ltd. for cash consideration of about INR 38 crore.
In two separate BSE filings, AESL stated that on October 14, 2024, it executed share purchase agreements with PFC Consulting for acquiring 100 percent equity shares of Jamnagar Transmission Ltd. (JTL) and Navinal Transmission Ltd. (NTL).
These acquisitions are proposed to further AESL’s strategy for enhancing value for its shareholders through organic as well as inorganic opportunities, the company said in a statement.
JTL will aim to drawl of up to 3.6 GW load under Phase-I in the Jamnagar area of Gujarat [Jamnagar (~750 MW) and Jam Khambhaliya (~2850 MW)]. And, NTL will aim to implement to drawl of up to 4.5 GW load in Mundra area of Gujarat from bulk consumers/distribution licensees and green hydrogen.
“JTL projects include establishment of 2x1500 MVA 765/400 kV Jamnagar (GIS) PS with 2x330 MVAR 765 kV bus reactor and 2x125 MVAR 420 kV bus reactor, setting up of ~330 km (941 ckm) transmission line and ±400 MVAr STATCOM with 3x125 MVAr MSC & 2x125 MVAr MSR at Jamnagar 400kV Bus section,” informed AESL in the regulatory filing.
It further added, “NTL projects include establishment of 4x1500 MVA, 765/400 kV Navinal (Mundra) S/s (GIS) with 2x330 MVAR, 765 kV and 1x125 MVAr, 420 kV bus reactors and setting up of ~129 km (515 ckm) transmission line.”
