Adani New Industries Ltd. (ANIL) and Swancor Holding Co., Ltd. have joined hands to build India’s first recyclable wind farm.

As per the firm, this partnership represents a significant step forward in the country’s renewable energy journey, aligning with its goal to achieve 140 GW of installed wind power capacity by 2030. This initiative is set to play a vital role in accelerating India’s transition toward a sustainable, net-zero future.

The project will integrate cutting-edge technology, with Adani completing certification for Swancor’s SWANCOR EzCiclo recyclable epoxy resin system by 2025. This innovative resin will be used to manufacture environmentally friendly wind turbine blades, ensuring that the blades can be recycled and repurposed at the end of their lifecycle. Complementing this, Swancor will provide advanced recycling technology and testing services, enabling the efficient utilisation of retired blades and fostering a comprehensive circular economy.

Aden Tsai, CEO of Swancor Holding, expressed his pride in collaborating with the Adani Group to develop India’s first large-scale commercial recyclable wind power plant. He said, "We are honoured to collaborate with Adani Group to realise India's first large-scale commercial recyclable wind power plant. This project is not only a breakthrough for the wind energy industry but also a testament to our commitment to global sustainable development."

Aden acknowledged the support of Milind Kulkarni, Business Head at ANIL, and highlighted that the adoption of Swancor’s recyclable epoxy resin technology would set new standards for sustainability in India’s wind energy sector while creating a benchmark for advanced wind power technology worldwide.

The firm further said in its statetment that this collaboration marks the beginning of a long-term relationship between Adani and Swancor. Both companies aim to scale up their efforts, with plans to establish the largest recyclable wind farm in Asia. By expanding the scope of their cooperation, the partnership seeks to redefine the global wind power market, drive the renewable energy industry toward greater scalability and sustainability, and lead the way to a greener energy future.
