NTPC’s auction for 1,200 MW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects (Hybrid 02) has attracted an L1 tariff of INR 3.38/kWh.
JSP Green (Jindal Renewables) has emerged as the L1 bidder and has won 350 MW at a tariff of INR 3.38/kWh.
Four other players have also emerged as winners by quoting a tariff of INR 3.44/kWh.
While Green Prairie Energy IV have secured 200 MW, Adyant Enersol and AMPIN Energy Utility have bagged 150 MW each.
Adani Renewables Energy Holding Twelve (Adani Green) won the remaining 350 MW of its quoted capacity of 600 MW, under the bucket-filling method.
The tender, floated in August 2024, specified a minimum project size of 50 MW, with subsequent increments in multiples of 10 MW, and capped the maximum capacity per bidder at 600 MW, excluding greenshoe capacity.
Projects are required to maintain a capacity utilisation factor of 30 percent. Wind turbines must be type-certified as per the MNRE’s Revised List of Models and Manufacturers, and solar modules must adhere to MNRE’s Approved Models and Manufacturers List-I.
