ACME Solar Commissions Additional 90 MW Solar Capacity in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. has commissioned an additional 90 MW of solar projects in Rajasthan, bringing its total operational renewable capacity to 2,453 MW.

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. (ASHL) has announced commission of an additional aggregate capacity of 90 MW of solar power projects in Rajasthan.

The company’s wholly-owned subsidiaries ACME Dhaulpur Powertech and ACME Raisar Solar Energy, have commissioned the remaining capacity of 62 MW and 28 MW, respectively. These two plants are now fully commissioned to rated capacity of 300 MW each, the company shared in a regulatory filing.

“In furtherance to our communication dated December 19, 2024 regarding commissioning of aggregate capacity of 1023.05 MW of solar power projects in Rajasthan by wholly-owned subsidiaries of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd., this is to inform you that ACME Solar Holdings, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries viz. ACME Dhaulpur Powertech Pvt. Ltd. and ACME Raisar Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd., has commissioned the remaining capacity of 62 MW and 28 MW, respectively, on January 07, 2025,” it noted.

It further added that with this, ASHL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 2,453 MW.

Last month, the company announced that its subsidiary ACME Renewtech Pvt. Ltd. secured INR 1,988 crore term loan from Power Finance Corporation (PFC) for its 300 MW solar-wind hybrid renewable energy project. The solar capacity is to be developed in Bikaner, Rajasthan. ASHL also won 300 MW in SECI’s 1,000 MW ISTS-connected solar auction.
