Yuma Energy Recruits Muthu Subramanian as Managing Director and General Manager
Subramanian has worked in leadership positions at Magna, earlier where he worked for 17 years.

Yuma Energy announced the appointment of Muthu Subramanian as its managing director and general manager.
Subramanian will supervise the strategic direction and overall operations of Yuma, a consortium between Bengaluru-headquartered contributed electric mobility platform Yulu and the US transport technology company Magna.
Subramanian has worked in leadership positions at Magna, previously where he worked for 17 years.
During his occupancy at Magna, he worked in various key leadership roles, steering innovation and growth throughout diverse product areas comprising developing and introducing Magna’s first completely autonomous last-mile delivery robot.
Yuma runs a network of battery charging and swapping stations for EV Two-wheelers.

Muthu Subramanian stated, “Combating air pollution and decongesting our cities requires cost-effective mobility solutions. Battery swapping is one such area.”
Yuma has spanned a network of more than 85 Yuma Stations throughout Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi, and will accelerate to over 500 stations all over cities in the subsequent 12 months.
The Yuma network will not only assist the fastly rising electric two-wheeler fleet of Yulu but will also be accessible to other OEMs and mobility operators to facilitate reliable, convenient, and efficient access to battery swapping for their customers.
