SECI Releases NIT for Solar Projects worth 2MW in J&K

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced that it has released a Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT) for development of a 2 MW solar PV plant at Army Posts in Jammu and Kashmir.
The NIT for the selection of Solar Power Developers (SPDs) for setting up of 2 MW of solar power plants, 1 MW each at the army posts in Siachen and an army post in Partapur at Jammu and Kashmir will be accessible for viewing on the government portal from February 20, 2019.
The concise range of work for the winning bidders will include the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning of the 02 MW Solar PV Power Plant. The solar power developers will also be responsible for the successful operation and maintenance (O&M) of the project.
SECI had also lately issued a tender for setting up 50 MW of solar plant at the Kasargod Solar Park in Kerala. The tender documents for that project have now been uploaded to the government’s TCIL portal, SECI informed.
