GUVNL Invites Bids to Procure 250 MW Wind Power with Greenshoe Option of Another 250 MW

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) has issued a tender for purchase of power through competitive bidding process from 250 MW grid-connected wind power projects to be setup anywhere in India (Phase IX) with a greenshoe option of additional up to 250 MW. Bid submission ends on February 11, 2025.

Solar Power Dominates India's RE Landscape with over 97 GW of Installed Capacity

As per MNRE data (December 31, 2024), India’s renewable energy capacity has reached 209 GW, with solar power leading at 97.8 GW, contributing nearly half the total.
