Syngene International Ltd., a Bengaluru-based pharmaceutical company, will procure renewable energy from O2 Power’s 201.2 MW wind-solar hybrid plant in Karnataka under a captive arrangement. The company acquired 33.79 percent stake in the SPV for INR 6.5 crore.

Kirloskar Brothers Invests INR 48.59 Million in Sunsure Solarpark for Captive Solar Power

Kirloskar Brothers, a Pune-based pumps and valves manufacturer has invested about INR 48.59 million in Sunsure Solarpark Nineteen, an SPV set up by Sunsure Energy, to procure solar power under an open access group captive arrangement. The company aims to enhance its RE capacity to 70 percent by FY 2025-26.

Aarti Industries to Procure 16.50 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Power from CleanMax

Mumbai-based speciality chemicals manufacturer Aarti Industries has partnered with Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions to procure 16.50 MW of solar-wind hybrid power under a group captive arrangement, investing approximately INR 16.70 crore in the SPV.

Covestro to Procure 90 MW Renewable Energy from Ørsted

Covestro has announced that four of its US sites have achieved net-zero Scope 2 electricity emissions through Renewable Energy Certificates under its virtual Power Purchase Agreement with Ørsted. The agreement with Ørsted, which provides Covestro with 90 MW of renewable energy capacity, will reduce approximately 90,000 tons of CO2 emission annually.
