HP CM Inaugurates 750 kW Solar Power Project at Dharamshala

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated a 750 kW solar power project, the first such project at Dharamshala, in Kangra district. Built at a cost of about INR 4.74 crore and spanning 8,500 square meters of land, this project will generate approximately 2,000 units of electricity daily.

Tenders for 7 Solar Projects Totalling 72 MW Have Been Invited: Himachal CM

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced that tenders for seven solar power projects with a combined capacity of 72 MW have been invited. Additionally, surveys and investigations of another 8 projects with a cumulative capacity of 325 are going on.

Himachal Pradesh Plans to Establish Solar Power Projects in 24 Gram Panchayats

The officials stated that the government’s all-inclusive aim to redevelop the panchayats comprises establishing solar power projects with a capacity of 500 KW to 1 MW in each of these panchayats.
