Egypt Targets 42 Percent Renewable Energy by 2030, Expands Grid Capacity
During the EETC General Assembly, Minister Esmat highlighted Egypt’s progress in renewable energy, with 22.8 GW capacity and a target of 42 percent by 2030. He also emphasised grid modernisation efforts and investments of EGP 7.6 billion for enhanced efficiency.
