Starting Strong: FIMER Steps into 2024 with Bagful of Prestigious Projects
In 2023, FIMER exhibited its flagship products, the ‘Central Inverters PVS980-58 series’ and BESS Converter ‘PVS980-58 BC’ series, at various events in India and bagged the prestigious ‘Solar+ Storage Project-Inverter Provider of the Year 2023’ award for the Modhera project from a leading media house in the country. Additionally, KN Sreevatsa, Managing Director, FIMER India, was honoured as one of the top 100 influential tech leaders in the solar industry for the year.

FIMER witnessed two-fold growth in 2023, clocking over 5 GW+Sales .
The future is looking brighter than ever as FIMER is bagging remarkable projects in India. Besides receiving orders from renowned clients such as NTPC and SECI, FIMER is also aiming to launch the country's highest-capacity BESS converter, boasting a 5MVA capacity, in 2024.
Recently, FIMER supplied Bidirectional Converters (BC) FIMER PVS980-58BC 1MVA to Honeywell for a project in Lakshadweep. The region's first on-grid solar project with a cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 3, 2024. Developed by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) through Sunsource Energy, this transformative initiative spans the islands of Kavaratti and Agatti, boasting a combined solar capacity of 1.7 MW and a sophisticated 1.4 MWh battery storage facility at Kavaratti.
FIMER is contributing to the mission of turning Ayodhya into the first solar city of Uttar Pradesh by supplying inverters for a 40 MW solar project being developed by NTPC. FIMER supplied its flagship central inverters PVS980-58 5MVA for total 40MW of this project. Around 104,580 solar panels will be installed in this project by Jakson Group.
2023 in Review: A Year of Milestones and Impact for FIMER India
The year 2023 was remarkable for FIMER India as the Company bagged its first major order, a substantial 2.45 GW contract from a single client at a specific location in India. The successful closure of the NTPC Phase 1 & Phase 2 Khavda project utilising FIMER PVS-980 5MW inverters added another feather to its cap by solidifying the company’s status as one of the few Class-1 suppliers approved by NTPC. The project is anticipated to be installed and commissioned by Q3, 2024.

The Company received repeat orders from renowned clients such as Sterling & Wilson, Amaraja, Avaada, Jackson, Honeywell, as well as International giants like Hitachi Sweden and soared to new heights.
FIMER successfully supplied PCS for over 500MW+ of BESS projects across the world and emerged as a leader in manufacturing converters for Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) systems.

Some of the noteworthy projects in India include the 6MVA/18MWHr BESS project at Modhera, Gujarat and the transformation of World’s UNESCO Heritage site at Sanchi in Madhya Pradesh, into India's first ‘solar city.’ The completion of a 3 MW solar plant is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 14,300 tonnes annually, with FIMER supplying central inverters PVS980-58 for projects commissioned by Goldi Solar. Additionally, another 8MW SPV plant is under construction at Sanchi.
The Company's historic contribution extends to supplying a 1 MW/MVA BESS converter for a 1 MW solar coupled with 1 MWhr BESS at the Indian Army military base camp in Ladakh. Thanks to the robustness and durability of our converters, FIMER proves ideal for extreme cold conditions.
FIMER supplied BESS-compatible converters PVS980-58BC 2 MVA to two Capgemini office campuses. Furthermore, a 3.5 MW BESS system was installed by Arcedo System in Mumbai, and a 2.5 MW system was commissioned by Replus Engitech in Noida.
